dr. kitty purrington owns the land!
As many of you know, we live in an area where it’s possible/safe to let our kitties out to play! We make sure to keep them up to date on shots and flea prevention meds, and away they go. Where I live, there is a property next door that used to be a well-maintainedgarden, and is now sort of a jungle–which my cats absolutely adore! It’s definitely Kitty’s favorite place.
I found him yesterday meditating in the little bamboo forest. Of course, as soon as he noticed me, it was time to show off.
He danced across the stones around the pond like it was nothing.
But he also had to stop and sniff the water. He wasn’t too impressed.
Where to next?
To lord over his domain. Naturally. There’s a black and white cat who’s been hanging around the property lately… DKP scared him away with the exact look you see in the photo: “I am King! All shall fear me!”

Oftentimes, one of my cats will find something interesting that they love, and one of the others will then take it over. Pickles found a tray left over from getting groceries, and she jumped right in, rolled around, and was generally acting ridiculously cute, and getting a lot of attention for it.
PRECIOUSSS.
Kitty didn’t take too kindly to all the attention Pickles was getting, so he usurped the box and then proceeded to pout in it.
“My box.”

The weather is wonderful, and my three kitties are loving it outside!
There used to be a fancy garden in the property beside ours, but since the owner sold us our house, he’s let it fall to the wayside over the years. It’s now quite overgrown and a beloved playground for my cats.
Yesterday, they were all hanging out there together! Clementine is in the foreground (naturally!) and Kitty is resting in the grass. Can you spot Pickles in this photo (click the photo to enlarge)?
