By now, you’ve undoubtedly seen the most adorable video ever, where a mother cat hugs her kitten who’s having a bad dream. But have you wondered what the poor little kitten was dreaming about? Here’s your chance to take a guess!

I don’t really understand the phenomenon that is Nyan Cat, a poptart cat being propelled through space by a rainbow, but I don’t think it’s one of those things that really can be understood. It’s bizarre, and it makes no sense, but it’s awesome, so who cares?
And when I say phenomenon, it truly is. Nyan Cat is all over the place.

KITTENWAR!
I was recently introduced to kittenwar.com, where kittens in photos battle against each other for the crown of cuteness. If you ever find yourself bored and in need of something fun to pass the time (like those last five minutes of class or work), you can help kittens win battles! All you do is choose which kitten is cuter between two photos, and two new ones will generate for the next battle. Who doesn’t love to look at photos of precious little kitties? The site also tracks the winningest kittens and the losingest kittens.

And poor Rafael is dubbed the losingest kitten:
It looks like the fluffier kittens beat out the shorthair and hairless kitties, who unfortunately don’t quite have a good reputation for cuteness. Rafael’s big ears and blue eyes are definitely cute, though, and as the site says, “All our kittens are winners, really…” That is absolutely true, in my book: it’s hard to lose at all if you’re a cat! Don’t worry Rafael, you can curl up in my lap and purr any time!

i’m kind of surprised that cats would enjoy this.
maybe it’s just because i, personally, don’t like things like treadmills. but it seems that kitties do like treadmills.
i think my cats could use a treadmill. they, along with their momma, have put on a bit of weight. i wish i could take them on walks with me, but like most kitties, they aren’t too fond of leashes.
