maneki neko monday: win a mini neko!
I always feel guilty for promoting my own things, but this IS my blog, isn’t it? Silly me. :)
In case you missed it or don’t keep up with our Facebook page, I announced that for every 100 new Facebook fans my online store Hey Kitty Kitty gets, I’ll do a giveaway for a mini maneki neko. So if you haven’t done so already and want to win a little kitty, be sure to like Hey Kitty Kitty on Facebook!
But since we love you guys and it’s been a while since we’ve done a giveaway, I’ve decided to do one on here, as well! All you have to do is leave a comment, and let us know what colors you’d choose for your custom kitty (body color, eye color, and collar color). Other colors are available, so you’re not limited to what’s seen in these pictures. The deadline to enter is Sunday, January 15th at 11:59pm EST. The winner will be randomly chosen and announced on Monday, January 16th!

For all of you who celebrate, Happy Hanukkah! Hellcat and I both celebrate Christmas, so we tend to do a lot of Christmas posts around this time of year, but I know we have some Jewish readers and I hate to leave you out! Here are some great Hanukkah cat items I’ve found on Etsy.

We can’t wait to see more! Who knows… ever since artist Katie Cook tweeted: “I’m going to start a Kickstarter project to help me fund re-filming Star Wars scene by scene… With an all kitten cast,” we can’t help but wonder if this isn’t the perfect match for Princess Leia.
